Bodega 65 Chardonnay

Bodega 65 Chardonnay is a characterful white wine that interprets the grape variety with clarity and a modern style. In the glass, it shines a warm golden yellow with brilliant reflections. The bouquet is expressive and complex: ripe yellow fruits such as peach and pineapple mingle with juicy pear and a hint of citrus zest. Subtle notes of vanilla, toasted almonds, and a delicate creaminess indicate careful aging and lend the wine additional depth. On the palate, the Chardonnay is full-bodied and harmonious. The well-integrated acidity provides freshness and balance, while the fruit aromas are supported by a creamy texture. A fine spiciness and subtle toasty notes accompany the medium to long finish, which is elegant and lingering.

Bodega65

In the hamlet of Cas Canar, a shoe factory was built in the 20th century. Since 2016, the buildings have been converted into a winery, climate-controlled, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The Bodega 65 team took over the winery at the end of 2023 and set about perfecting the process. Important quality-related changes were implemented, including grape cooling, gentle transport of the grapes, use of gravity flow, consistently cooled and airtight fermentation, and much more. Thomas Wambsganss is personally responsible not only for the processing of the grapes but was also the architect of a process chain that guarantees artisanal quality even with a capacity of 100,000 liters.
