Barolo DOCG Piemont 0.75L

A Barolo that showcases the classic power of Nebbiolo with elegant precision — from one of Piedmont's most prestigious addresses.

Bruno Giacosa has been one of the most influential names in La Morra and Serralunga d'Alba for decades. The Falletto winery stands for rigorous craftsmanship: the Nebbiolo vines, between 32 and 37 years old, grow on southwest-facing slopes and yield concentrated, structured grapes. The hand-harvest took place on October 19, 2021, followed by 25 days of fermentation and maceration.

In the glass, the 2021 vintage displays aromas of dried rose, cherry jam, and licorice, underpinned by a typical hint of tar and violet. The tannins are firm yet fine-grained—a sign of the quality of the vineyard and the age of the vines. The acidity provides good aging potential, and the finish is spicy and lingering. Drinking window: 2027–2040.

Best served at 16–18 °C , ideally after an hour of decanting. Classic pairings: Brasato al Barolo, wild boar goulash, or aged Parmigiano Reggiano. A wine for an evening that allows time.
