Slivovitz from the Badel distillery, founded in 1862, one of Croatia's oldest distilleries. Its base is the Bistrica plum , a variety native to Croatia with a pronounced aroma concentration – the raw material that defines the character of this classic pomace brandy from the Balkan region.
In the glass, this is a clear, fruit-forward plum brandy with a sweet and spicy note and a long, warming finish. Served classically neat at room temperature – no ice, no mixer.
A typical digestif after hearty meals. Pairs well with dark chocolate or strong hard cheese. Also suitable as a base for simple cocktails with honey and lemon. The 1.0-liter bottle is ideal for regular use or as a gift for connoisseurs of Eastern European fruit brandies.
