Alte Zwetschke 0.7L

Alte Zwetschke from Gölles is a plum brandy matured in wooden barrels from Styria — amber-colored, round, and significantly more complex than a classic fruit distillate.

Alois Gölles is one of Austria's most renowned distillers. His business in Riegersburg combines traditional distilling art with precise craftsmanship: ripe, single-varietal fruit from the region, gentle distillation, and subsequent barrel maturation. The plum is one of the house's parade disciplines.

In the glass, it shows dark plum, a hint of prune, and subtle vanilla from the wood. The texture is oily-soft, the finish long with a fine spicy warmth. No sharp alcohol impression — the distillate feels light-footed despite its depth.

Neat at 16–18 °C in a bulbous nosing glass — this is how the fruit aromas come into their own best. Classic as a digestif after a hearty Styrian meal, but also a harmonious choice with dark chocolate or aged hard cheese.

  • The clock in the header. Next to the heart, there is now a clock icon with a counter. One click opens your last 30 products, the most recent first — wines, Value packs, events, and vouchers. A click on the line takes you back to the product.
  • On the homepage. As soon as you have viewed something, the homepage shows the "Recently viewed" row with your last twelve products.
  • In your account. On the overview of your account area, you will find the same list as a "Your history" card.
  • No login, no storage on our end. The history lives only in your browser. That is why only this device can see it, and if you delete your browser data, the list will also be empty.
  • Want a wine to stay? Then click on the heart — on the product page or in any list. It will be waiting for you on your wishlist on all devices as soon as you are logged in.
