Absolut Vodka

Absolut Vodka from Åhus, Sweden, is one of the world's best-selling vodkas – and has been for decades, for good reason. It's made from Swedish winter wheat from the Skåne region, fermented and distilled with water from a local deep well. Continuous distillation ensures a particularly pure, smooth character without any harsh edges.

In the glass, it is absolutely clear and neutral with a hint of grain, a touch of sweetness, and a clean, dry finish. At 40% ABV, it is classically balanced – neither too thin nor too heavy.

It's hard to beat as a base for cocktails: Moscow Mule (4 cl Absolut, ginger beer, lime juice, plenty of ice), Vodka Cranberry (4 cl Absolut, 3 cl cranberry juice, orange slice), or simply Vodka Tonic with a lemon twist. It also works well neat, especially straight from the freezer – that's when its texture and grain notes really shine.
