Marimar Estate
The story of Marimar Estate began with a bold decision: Marimar Torres, born into the famous Spanish winemaking family Torres, broke with family tradition and moved to California.
In 1986, she planted the first vines in the cool Russian River Valley. Today, the winery cultivates two vineyards: the Don Miguel Vineyard and the Doña Margarita Vineyard .
Here, Catalan heritage meets Californian ease. Alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Spanish varieties such as Albariño, Godello, and Tempranillo are also cultivated.
Catalan heritage, rooted in the Russian River Valley
Marimar Torres left her family's winemaking dynasty in Spain and planted her first vines in the cool Russian River Valley in 1986. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grow on the Don Miguel and Doña Margarita vineyards – complemented by Albariño, Godello and Tempranillo, which keep the Catalan heritage alive.
