Klosterfeld Mustard Mill

The turning point for us came in 2000. Perhaps a little late. But all the more flavorful, sustainable, and aromatic for it. We wanted to become mustard makers – in Brandenburg, in Klosterfelde. And we wanted the very best: premium mustard that tastes good, is good for you, and is good for you. That's how the Klosterfelde Mustard Mill came to be. We developed our own unique style – in raw materials, recipes, and processing. And we discovered: the slower the process, the more delicious it is. That's why our select mustard seeds are cold-milled. Like olives. Slowly, gently, and with a rich aroma. Mustard that makes people happy. Farmers, suppliers, us – and all mustard lovers worldwide.

Klosterfelder Mustard Mill —
Brandenburg mustard, cold-ground

Since 2000, the Klosterfelder Mustard Mill in Klosterfelde, Brandenburg, has been grinding mustard in its own unique way: slowly, cold, and with select mustard seeds. The principle is reminiscent of the cold pressing of fine olive oils—the gentler the process, the more aroma is preserved. The result is a mustard with genuine character: spicy, complex, without the harsh, one-dimensionality of many industrial products.

Behind the mill lies a conscious decision against compromise. Custom recipes, carefully selected raw materials, and a time-consuming processing method—this is the craftsmanship that sets Klosterfelde mustard apart from mass-produced products. Anyone who has previously considered mustard a mere accompaniment will be pleasantly surprised: as an accompaniment to cheese, sausage, fish, or as a base for vinaigrettes, it deserves a permanent place on the table.
