In a picturesque valley basin in the southern center of Rheinhessen lies Lonsheim, where the Trautwein family has been growing wine for four generations. Under the leadership of Johannes Trautwein, who presented his debut vintage in 2019, the winery consistently focuses on sustainable and natural cultivation.

By avoiding herbicides and mineral fertilizers, as well as the principle of 'controlled non-intervention' in the cellar, long-lived and characterful terroir and site-specific wines are created here.

With the premiere vintage of 2019, Johannes Trautwein took the helm and sharpened the winery's profile: consistent avoidance of herbicides and mineral fertilizers in the vineyard, and in the cellar, the principle of controlled non-intervention — meaning as little interference as necessary so that the wine can develop its own character. The result is wines that reward patience.

The flagships are the single-vineyard wines from the best plots in Rheinhessen, including a Riesling from the renowned Westhofener Morstein. Those looking for wines that make origin and craftsmanship palpable will find a clear signature at Trautwein.

Ticket email with two links and a ticket with QR code, name and "Guest 1 of 2"

For our events, you will now receive a separate ticket for every seat — with a QR code, sent directly by email after purchase. At the entrance, simply show the code on your phone, and you are in.

  • One ticket per person. If you buy three tickets, you will receive three links — 'Guest 1 of 3' to 'Guest 3 of 3'. Each link is an individual ticket. If you are arriving separately, simply forward the links to your companions.
  • By email, once paid. The 'Your tickets' email arrives automatically after payment. You can also find your tickets at any time in your customer account under 'Events'.
  • Phone or paper. The QR code works just as well from a screen as it does printed out. On the ticket page, there is a 'Print / save as PDF' button for this purpose — including the date, time, and address.
  • Invited? If we have invited you as a guest, you will receive your ticket the same way after you have accepted. The ticket will then state 'As our guest · Free admission'.
  • At the entrance. We scan the code; each ticket is valid once. If you don't have your phone, the team at the entrance can also find you by your name — so you will get in regardless.
