About Irish Distillers

Irish Distillers –
the heart of Irish whiskey tradition

Irish Distillers was formed in 1966 from the merger of three historic distilleries: John Power & Son, Jameson & Son, and Cork Distilleries. What began as a merger to safeguard Irish whiskey is today Ireland's leading spirits producer – headquartered in Cork with over 600 employees at two locations.

The portfolio ranges from Jameson, the world's best-selling Irish whiskey, to characterful single pot still bottlings like Redbreast and Green Spot. The classic Irish style – triple distilled, smooth on the palate, with notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and a long, gentle finish – is the hallmark of all bottlings from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork.

Since Pernod Ricard's investment in 1988 and a €220 million capacity expansion in 2015, Irish Distillers has played a key role in the Irish whiskey renaissance. Anyone wishing to explore the world of Irish whiskey or delve deeper into it will find a range here that extends from approachable blends to mature single pot still whiskeys.
