Domaine du Pélican –
Jura wines with depth and terroir

Domaine du Pélican lies in the heart of the Jura , one of France's most distinctive wine regions. Here, between Burgundy and the Alps, grow grape varieties that are found almost nowhere else: Savagnin, Poulsard, and Trousseau have shaped the wines of this area for centuries – and Domaine du Pélican carries on this heritage with conviction.

In the cellar, the team consistently employs long aging periods and minimal intervention. The Chardonnays mature under oak, the Savagnins develop their characteristic oxidative depth, and the red wines from Poulsard retain their delicate, almost transparent color and cool spiciness. What unites all the wines is that they taste of the place they come from – of limestone, clay, and the harsh climate of the Jura plateau.

Anyone who has tasted the wines of Domaine du Pélican understands why the Jura region has received so much attention in recent years – not because of a trend, but because of this distinctive combination of individuality and meticulous craftsmanship. Ideal with Comté cheese, morello mushrooms, or a classic chicken à la crème.
