Disaronno –
the Amaretto from Saronno with 500 years of history

Disaronno comes from Saronno , a small town in Lombardy, and has been produced according to the same recipe for around 500 years. The base consists of pure apricot kernels, preserved in alcohol and combined with bitter almond oil, vanilla, and a handful of warm spices – a recipe that remains unchanged to this day.

What distinguishes this liqueur from other amaretti is its character: velvety on the palate, with a sweetness balanced by the subtle bitterness of the almond note. The distinctive carafe with its square glass stopper is no accident – it was designed in the 1960s by a Milanese designer and has remained unchanged ever since.

Disaronno works on several levels: neat over ice as a digestif, as a Disaronno Sour with fresh lemon juice and egg white, or as a shot in a double espresso. Those who bake amaretti cookies or almond cake also often use a shot of Disaronno.
