Courvoisier –
two centuries of cognac craftsmanship from Jarnac

Courvoisier is one of the few houses whose name describes not just a brand, but a style. For more than 200 years, the house has been producing cognacs in Jarnac , a small town in the heart of the Charente region, known for their fruitiness and silky texture – not a heavy, tannic style, but an elegance that unfolds slowly in the glass.

The Charente region is the heart of the Cognac-growing area, and Jarnac lies at its center: surrounded by Ugni Blanc vines, whose high-acid wines form the basis for distillation. Courvoisier sources eaux-de-vie from several crus in the region and ages them in barrels made of Limousin and Tronçais oak – a process that takes years to decades, depending on the cuvée.

The range extends from the approachable VS for classic cocktails to mature XO bottlings, which reveal their full potential when enjoyed neat in a nosing glass. Those wishing to enter the world of Cognac will find Courvoisier a reliable entry point; those already familiar with the brand appreciate its consistency.
