Burg Ravensburg is one of the oldest wineries in Germany: Founded in 1251, the estate in Sulzfeld in the Kraichgau region looks back on more than 750 years of winemaking history. Today, Claus Burmeister manages the winery, while cellar masters Daniel Rupp and Jürgen Kern are responsible for the winemaking process.

36 hectares of vineyards are spread across sites such as Sulzfelder Löchle, Dicker Franz, and Husarenkappe. Clay, gypsum marl, and loess characterize the terroir and provide the foundation for Pinot Gris, Lemberger, Schwarzriesling, and Trollinger wines with a distinct regional character. Approximately 260,000 bottles are produced annually, reflecting both craftsmanship and origin.

Gault&Millau awarded Burg Ravensburg 4 grapes and the "German Top" designation in 2019 – an acclaim that the winery sees not as a goal, but as an incentive.
