The Fritz Wieninger winery cultivates its sites on the Viennese hills biodynamically, making it part of a small group that is consistently rethinking Vienna's city wine. The DAC designation of origin stipulates that the grape varieties must grow together in the same vineyard, be harvested together, and fermented together — not a blend in the cellar, but diversity directly in the soil.

In the glass, it is a dry white wine with lively acidity, floral notes, and a fresh, slightly spicy finish. The multitude of varieties provides a natural complexity that no single-varietal wine can achieve in this way: sometimes citrus fruit appears, sometimes a herbal depth, depending on which variety gains the upper hand in the respective vintage.

Served well-chilled at 10–12 °C, it pairs well with Wiener Schnitzel, Liptauer on rye bread, or a summery salad with goat cheese. An uncomplicated yet characterful everyday wine with genuine origin.
