Wiener Gemischter Satz Bisamberg DAC Vienna 0.75L

The Wiener Gemischte Satz from Bisamberg is one of the most characteristic expressions of Viennese viticulture: several grape varieties harvested together, fermented together — the result is more than the sum of its parts.

Weingut Fritz Wieninger is one of the defining names in Viennese viticulture. The vineyards on the Bisamberg, north of the city, provide white wines with a clear structure and a distinct sense of origin thanks to their loess soils and continental climate. The cultivation is biodynamic (AT-BIO-402), which is reflected in the liveliness of the wine.

In the glass, it shows an aromatic nose with slightly smoky minerality, followed by light fruit and herbal spice, as is typical for Bisamberg sites. Dry on the palate, with a fresh acid structure and a pleasantly salty finish — not a heavy wine, but one that whets the appetite.

Best served at 10–12 °C. Classic with Viennese cuisine: Tafelspitz, Beuschel, or a good Liptauer. But it also pairs well with asparagus, grilled fish, or mild goat cheese.
