A Premier Cru from Vosne-Romanée — that means Pinot Noir on one of the most coveted soils of the Côte de Nuits, with the precision and depth for which this appellation is known worldwide.

Domaine des Lambrays is a traditional winery in Morey-Saint-Denis, which is primarily known for its monopoly Grand Cru Clos des Lambrays. Work in the vineyard is the focus — the domaine cultivates its sites with the goal of bringing the character of the respective terroir unadulterated into the bottle. Les Beaux Monts is located in the northern part of Vosne-Romanée, on slopes with calcareous clay-loam soil, directly below the Grand Cru site Richebourg.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows the typical signature of Vosne-Romanée: aromas of sour cherry and raspberry, underlaid by violets, fine earth, and a hint of clove. The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral finish. Vinified dry, with the elegance that distinguishes this appellation.
