Viré-Clessé AC Mâcon Villages 1.5L

The Viré-Clessé 2023 from Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon is a powerful white wine from southern Burgundy, obtained from approximately 60-year-old vines. The cultivation managed according to a documented standard and the aging in large wooden barrels give it depth and expression. In the glass, it appears light golden with a brilliant shine. The nose reveals aromas of apple, peach, and fresh lime, accompanied by a limestone-accented minerality. On the palate, the Chardonnay impresses with structure, precise fruit, and harmonious balance. Notes of pear and nectarine are added, and the finish is long and polished. Serve chilled at 11 degrees Celsius - ideal with grilled fish, seafood with herbs, or vegetable dishes with Mediterranean spice.
