VICTORIÆ Pinot Nero

Madonna delle Vittorie lies in the Val di Non in Trentino, at an altitude of around 600 meters — one of the northernmost and coolest wine-growing regions in Italy. The combination of alpine climate, short summers, and strongly pronounced day-night temperature fluctuations ensures slow, even ripening. In addition, there are calcareous, well-drained soils that give the Pinot Nero a different character than in Burgundy: less fullness, but tauter acidity, clear fruit, and a mineral precision that lingers long in the finish.

The VICTORIÆ shows sour cherry, raspberry confit, and a hint of dried mountain herbs on the nose. With some air, delicate notes of pomegranate and violet emerge. On the palate, medium body with a fine, silky tannin structure — no weight, but clear contour. The acidity is lively without being sharp and carries the wine into a mineral-salty finish with good length. Drinking temperature: 16–17 °C.

A red wine for the table, not for the drawer. Pairs with tagliatelle with duck ragù, rack of lamb with rosemary, and polenta, or with ripe Fontina from the Aosta Valley. Anyone drinking it solo should open it at least 30 minutes beforehand.

Madonna delle Vittorie

The area around Lake Garda – ideal for grapevines. It is not just the soil and the mild climate, but also the local air currents that make the difference: "Ora del Garda" and "Pelér" ventilate the vines during the day and at night. No mold formation, no harmful organisms. In addition, there are temperature fluctuations that perfectly develop the aroma potential of the grapes.

The Madonna delle Vittorie winery manages 26 hectares using the Guyot system and creates fresh white wines, fragrant red wines, and sparkling wines such as the renowned Spumante Brut Trento DOC Metodo Classico.
