Barbera from Piedmont, vinified dry and with character: The Tre Roveri Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG relies on dark fruit and a lively acidity that gives the wine tension and pull.

Pico Maccario is located in the heart of the Barbera area around Asti, where the grape variety has long been at home. The Tre Roveri carries the designation of origin DOCG Barbera d'Asti Superiore and thus belongs to the more demanding quality level of the appellation.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red. In the nose, ripe plum, juicy cherry, and dark blackberry, along with subtle vanilla notes. Juicy on the palate, with fresh acidity and soft tannins that let the wine flow smoothly. The finish is long and fresh.

Serve it at 16 to 18 °C. It pairs well with spicy meat dishes, strong cheese, or a plate of antipasti with salami and grilled vegetables.
