The Busker Single Pot 0.7L

The Busker Single Pot is an Irish whiskey where spice and pepper set the tone and toffee cushions the sharpness. It comes from the Royal Oak Distillery and is in the tradition of the Irish pot still distillery.

The distillate is made from barley and is distilled in copper pot stills. It is aged in former bourbon and sherry casks, both of which shape its roundness and character.

In the mouth, intense spice and pepper notes begin, which are balanced by some toffee. The finish remains long and warm-spicy. Anyone who has previously known Irish whiskey primarily as a mild blend will get to know a significantly spicier side here.

Recommendation: neat or with a few drops of water so that the spice opens up. On ice, it becomes softer in appearance. As a highball with ginger ale and a lime wedge, the ginger picks up the pepper note.
