Tesch Spätburgunder dry 1.0L

A Pinot Noir without oak influence — that means clear fruit instead of toasty notes, and that's exactly what makes this wine so easy to drink.

The Tesch winery from Langenlonsheim on the Nahe River has been known for generations for its precise, varietally typical wines. This Pinot Noir matures without barrique aging—the fruit remains paramount, while the structure comes from the terroir.

In the glass, it displays aromas of sour cherry and red plum, along with a light spicy note. The body is medium-light, the tannins soft and rounded, and the finish pleasantly fresh. Not a heavy red wine—more the type where the second bottle almost appears on the table by itself.

Serving suggestion: Serve slightly chilled at 14–16 °C. Pairs well with grilled chicken, pasta with tomato sauce, lentils, or antipasti. Also a simple and enjoyable drink on its own for the evening.

Weingut Tesch Logo – Nahe-Weingut bekannt für Riesling, Spätburgunder und Weißburgunder mit Rock-Musik-Affinität

Tesch Winery

Tesch – the first rock 'n' roller among wineries. When Unplugged (yes, the label inspired MTV) became Gibson's house wine, the name was indispensable in the rock scene. Today, Riesling is drunk backstage – at Rock am Ring, in Wacken, and even Die Toten Hosen have Tesch as their official supplier. The selection is small, focused, and easy to navigate. Three varieties: Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc. All dry, all with screw caps. Environmentally friendly viticulture, hand-harvesting – a given. The classic 1-liter bottles make a great first impression. And that makes you want more.
