Tatratea 32% Citrus 0.7L

Tatratea Citrus is a tea liqueur with 32% ABV from Slovakia: black tea meets citrus fruits and a fine sweetness. The name refers to the Tatra Mountains in the north of the country, and the brand builds its range on tea as a foundation. With 32% ABV, it is stronger in the glass than a classic fruit liqueur.

In the glass is an amber-colored liqueur. On the nose, lemongrass, mint, and herbal tea come together. On the palate, black tea and citrus fruit form the core, with the citrus note keeping the whole thing fresh. The taste is full and round.

Recommendation: neat and well chilled as a digestif at 6–8 °C, on ice with a slice of lemon, or poured hot with water on cold evenings. A splash also fits well in black tea or in a winter punch. With tonic water or ginger beer, it becomes an uncomplicated long drink.
