Isole e Olena is located in Chianti Classico, in the heart of Tuscany between Florence and Siena. For decades, the winery has stood for artisanal care and the courage to reinterpret international grape varieties on Tuscan soil. The Syrah of the Collezione Privata is not a side project, but a wine with its own claim — produced in small quantities, with a focus on ripeness and expression of the site.

In the glass, deep purple red. On the nose, blackberry, ripe plum, black pepper, and a hint of licorice — plus fine herbal notes reminiscent of rosemary and dried thyme. On the palate, the wine presents itself as powerful and concentrated, with noticeable structure and a long, spicy finish.

Goes well with braised lamb shoulder, game ragù, or a mature Pecorino stagionato. Serving temperature: 17–18 °C. Decanting recommended — at least 30 minutes before pouring.
