Spiess Weissburgunder & Chardonnay "S" dry
The Spiess Weissburgunder & Chardonnay "S" is an elegant white wine blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. Both grape varieties are aged separately in barrels and only blended after maturation. Because the barrels are used, the oak notes are not as pronounced. The two grape varieties complement each other perfectly, as the elegance of the Pinot Blanc is combined with the power and richness of the Chardonnay. The nose is dominated by Pinot Blanc aromas, while on the palate the elegance of the Chardonnay comes to the fore. The wine is balanced and harmonious, offering a fine acidity with subtle mineral notes. Its finish is long and pleasantly flavorful.

The Spiess winery in Bechtheim is renowned for its consistently high-quality wines. Brothers Burkhard and Jürgen Spiess are passionate about quality. Rigorous yield control, meticulous vineyard management, gentle processing, traditional methods, and state-of-the-art cellar technology result in full-bodied wines that are both pure and easy to drink. This dedication and passion for wine are rewarded year after year with numerous national and international awards. Above all, the Spiess family believes it's essential to bottle the wine exactly as it comes from the vineyard. This means that the foundation is laid in nature itself, requiring consistently excellent work in the estate's vineyard plots.
