Select Bitter Aperitif Montenegro 3.0L

Select is an Italian bitter aperitif with a bittersweet character and a clear herbal-citrus line – the basis for the Venetian Spritz.

In 1920, the Fratelli Pilla & C. distillery launched Select in Venice, and to this day, the bitter remains part of the local aperitif ritual. The recipe contains 30 selected botanicals, including juniper berries and rhubarb roots, processed in an elaborate maceration process.

In the glass, herbal notes meet citrus peel. Added to this is a hint of bitterness, which the sweet side cleanly cushions. The juniper gives the whole thing structure.

The original Venetian Spritz is made classically: 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Select, 1 splash of soda water, plenty of ice, and a green olive. The 3-liter bottle fits on the bar, terrace, and large table – you can serve many guests without having to refill.
