Scharffenberger Brut Rosé Excellence Californian Quality Sparkling Wine 0.75L

A sparkling wine from the Anderson Valley that shows what California's coolest wine region can do: The Brut Rosé Excellence from Scharffenberger Cellars combines freshness with substance — classic in method, clear in style.

Scharffenberger Cellars is one of the pioneers of the Anderson Valley, a narrow valley basin in Mendocino County that is significantly cooler than the rest of California due to the maritime influence of the Pacific. Exactly this coolness makes the region the right address for sparkling wine: long growing seasons, high natural acidity, aromatic precision. The cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is produced according to traditional bottle fermentation — the same process as in Champagne.

In the glass, it shows a delicate salmon color. On the nose, strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of brioche. On the palate, lively acidity, medium body, fine mousse, and a dry, fruit-driven finish without heaviness.

Serve well-chilled at 7–9 °C — as an aperitif, with salmon tartare, grilled shrimp, or a light seafood risotto.
