Saveur Apricot-Salty Lemon 0.375L

An alcohol-free drink from Germany that works with salt and acidity instead of pure sweetness: Saveur Apricot-Salty Lemon by Saveur Drinks combines apricot with Moroccan preserved lemon.

The preserved lemon defines the character. It brings floral tones, a slight bitter note, and a fine saltiness. Added to this are full-fruited apricot and the gentle sweetness of local Williams Christ pears. This creates an interplay of ripe stone fruit, pear, and citrus peel.

In the glass, apricot and pear are at the forefront. Then a fresh acidity and a hint of salt take over, which keeps the palate awake. The finish is long and remains citrus-fresh and salty.

Serve it well chilled at about 6–8 °C. It goes well with chicken tagine with olives, goat cream cheese, or grilled shrimp. As an alcohol-free alternative to an aperitif, it also works well; the 0.375-l bottle is enough for two to three glasses.
