Sancerre Blanc Reverdy

Sancerre Blanc Reverdy
Sauvignon Blanc in its Loire classic style: fresh, mineral, precise – this is exactly what this Sancerre from Reverdy delivers from one of France's most famous white wine appellations.
The Reverdy winery has been rooted in Sancerre for generations, on the appellation's typical Kimmeridgian limestone soils, which give the Sauvignon Blanc its characteristic minerality. The cool nights of the Loire Valley preserve the acidity and keep the aromas taut.
In the glass, it shows aromas of fresh grapefruit, white currant, and a distinct hint of boxwood – the classic varietal spectrum of Loire Sauvignon. Lively on the palate, with clear citrus acidity and a fine, chalky minerality in the long finish. Not a lush, opulent style – but a wine that convinces through precision and tension.
Serving recommendation: Best served at 10–12 °C. Goes excellently with goat cheese from the Loire (Crottin de Chavignol is the classic combination), oysters, grilled sea bass, or asparagus with hollandaise.
