Sancerre Blanc Reverdy

Sancerre Blanc Reverdy
Sauvignon Blanc in its Loire classic style: fresh, mineral, precise – that's exactly what this Sancerre from Reverdy delivers from one of the most famous white wine appellations in France.
The Reverdy winery has been rooted in Sancerre for generations, on the appellation's typical Kimmeridge limestone soils, which give the Sauvignon Blanc its characteristic minerality. The cool nights of the Loire Valley preserve the acidity and keep the aromas crisp.
In the glass, it displays aromas of fresh grapefruit, white currant, and a distinct hint of boxwood – the classic varietal profile of Loire Sauvignon. Lively on the palate, with crisp citrus acidity and a fine, chalky minerality in the long finish. Not a lavish, opulent style – but a wine that impresses with its precision and tension.
Serving suggestion: Best served at 10–12 °C. Pairs perfectly with Loire goat cheese (Crottin de Chavignol is the classic combination), oysters, grilled sea bass, or asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Drinking window: 2024–2027.
