Rutte Dutch Dry Gin 0.7L

Rutte Dutch Dry Gin is a Dutch gin where celery takes center stage: powerful but elegant. It gives the gin a herbal-spicy line alongside the juniper.

Simon Rutte founded the house in 1872, and to this day it stands for gin and genever. It is distilled artisanally in small batches of a maximum of 180 liters, exclusively from natural ingredients. In addition to celery and juniper, coriander seeds, angelica, fresh orange peel, and cardamom go into the distillate.

On the nose, delicate floral notes appear. On the palate, it is fresh and finely spiced, with a hint of anise and herbal hints of mint, parsley, and celery. Added to this is a fine saltiness. It is best to try it neat or over ice; in a gin and tonic, it brings a spicy depth. Many bartenders work with it, such as Jörg Meyer at the Bar Le Lion in Hamburg for his original Gin Basil Smash.
