Miracielo is a rum from Guatemala that focuses on fruit and spice: vanilla, plum, and raisins define its profile.

Ron Botran has revived an old original recipe for Miracielo. The master blenders macerate vanilla, fresh plums, and sweet raisins by hand. This maceration is added to the maturing premium rum in the barrel, allowing the fruit and spice aromas to combine with the distillate. It is bottled in small batches.

In the glass, you can expect vanilla, dark plum, and the sweetness of dried raisins, carried by a spicy depth. It is best to try it neat at room temperature first so that the fruit aromas can shine. It becomes firmer over a large ice cube. It also fits well in an Old Fashioned with rum instead of whiskey, as a digestif after a meal, or with dark chocolate.
