Here, the air is the freshest and the water is crystal clear, constantly crashing against the rugged cliffs. The Murrays capture this very landscape in their gin. In addition to the obligatory juniper berries, this gin is primarily characterized by rhodiola rosea, which grows on the jagged, sea-battered rocks. Even the Vikings harvested these plants to gain extra strength and live to be "200 years old." The roots of the Rhodiola rosea give the gin a delicate, fresh rose aroma and its name: Rock Rose.
