Riesling medium-sweet QW Rheinhessen

A Riesling from Rheinhessen that balances sweetness and freshness: medium-sweet in style, with lively acidity as a counterweight. It is aimed at everyone who appreciates Rieslings with noticeable fruit sweetness.

The house of P.J. Valckenberg is one of the traditional wine houses in Worms and has long stood for Rheinhessen Rieslings. This Qualitätswein comes from the region between the Rhine, Nahe, and Palatinate, where loess and loam soils give the Riesling fullness and fruit.

In the glass, it glows golden yellow. On the nose, light honey and ripe peaches meet. On the palate, it appears juicy and round; the sweetness carries the fruit, the acidity keeps it fresh. The finish remains fruity and clear.

Serve it at about 9 °C. It pairs with fruit salad, fruit desserts, apple pie, or mild blue cheese, as well as with slightly spicy Asian dishes. It is also an uncomplicated companion for a sociable evening on its own.
