Ried Höhweingarten Weißer Traminer QW Lower Austria

A White Traminer that convinces first with its fragrance and then with its structure: dry in style, dense in mouthfeel and with the typical aromatics of the variety.

The wine comes from the Rudolf Fidesser winery in Lower Austria and grows in the Ried Höhweingarten. It is organically certified (AT-BIO-401). In the glass, it shows a medium greenish-yellow. On the nose, it opens with pink peony.

On the palate, striking tropical fruit and a fine bitter note meet nuances of incense. The wine feels lively and structured, has plenty of melt and a powerful extract sweetness that is carried by the structure. The finish is long and retains the spicy line until the end.

Serve it at 10 to 12 °C. It pairs with Thai curry, duck breast with orange jus or a spicy soft cheese with rind. It also works well solo, as an aromatic companion for a quiet evening.
