Ribolla Gialla Cru RoncAlto DOC Friuli Venezia Giulia 0.75L
Ribolla Gialla is one of Friuli's oldest white grape varieties — and in Livon's hands, it shows why it has been cultivated there for centuries. The grapes for this Cru grow on the Tenuta RoncAlto estate in Ruttars, a hamlet in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, on marl and clay soils that give the variety its characteristic vibrancy.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with aromas of citrus peel, green apple, and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, a lively, well-defined acidity dominates—the wine remains lean and precise, with a dry, mineral-tinged finish that clearly reveals its Collio origin.
Ready to drink now, but will easily keep until 2027. Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with seafood risotto, grilled sea bass, or a light goat cheese — anywhere a fresh, structured white wine is needed without overpowering the food.
