Reverdy Rosé Sancerre AOC

Reverdy Rosé Sancerre AOC
A Sancerre Rosé that shows why the Loire Valley is famous for Pinot Noir on limestone soil: clear fruit, lively acidity, dry finish without compromise.
Bernard Reverdy et Fils has cultivated its vineyards around Chavignol for generations. The vines grow on the typical limestone tuff ( Calcaires à Belemnites ) of the appellation—a soil that gives the wines the mineral, firm structure for which Sancerre is known. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks to ensure the fruit is clearly expressed.
A pale salmon pink in the glass. On the nose, red currant, strawberry, and a hint of citrus zest. Juicy on the palate, with delicate acidity and a dry, slightly mineral finish. Not a gram of residual sugar, no oak aging—pure freshness.
- Food: Goat cheese (Crottin de Chavignol is the classic combination), grilled salmon, prawns with herb butter or light pasta with tomatoes
- Temperature: 10–12 °C
- Occasion: Summer evening on the terrace, aperitif, light lunch
