Résonance Découverte Vineyard Chardonnay Dundee Hills

A Chardonnay that shows why the Dundee Hills in Oregon have long been discussed on a par with Burgundy — cool, precise, with real depth.

Résonance belongs to the Louis Jadot family from Beaune: The Burgundian négociant legend entered the Oregon market in 2013, convinced by the volcanic Jory soils and the cool Willamette climate. The Découverte Vineyard in the Dundee Hills produces grapes from a single vineyard – no blending, no compensating, just what this soil can offer.

In the glass, this Chardonnay reveals itself with a clear minerality: fresh hazelnut, citrus peel, and white blossoms on the nose, beneath which lies a delicate creaminess derived from the judicious use of French oak. The finish is long and saline, without any dominating wood or butteriness—typical of the cool climate of the Dundee Hills.
