Reserva Real
The Reserva Real was created in 1995 for a special occasion: The Spanish King visited the Familia Torres winery for its 125th anniversary — and Miguel Torres created a wine in response that would stand up to this moment.
The grapes come exclusively from Les Arnes , a tiny vineyard of just 4 hectares in the Penedès region. Cabernet Sauvignon forms the backbone, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This wine belongs to Torres' Antología collection —wines that the winery produces in strictly limited quantities and which are not part of its regular range.
In the glass, it displays dark blackberry and cassis, with notes of cedar, tobacco, and a hint of roasted coffee bean. The tannins are ripe and dense, without harshness—the finish is long, with a velvety texture that suggests careful barrel aging.
