Reisetbauer Mostbrand Eiche 0.35L

The Reisetbauer Mostbrand Eiche is an Austrian fruit brandy made from apples and pears, golden yellow in the glass and clear in its message. It shows how independent cider fruit can taste as the basis of a spirit.

Reisetbauer is one of Austria's well-known fruit distillers. The brandy comes from Upper Austria, a region where cider is firmly rooted in the regional culture. The 0.35 l bottle is a great opportunity to get to know the house style.

On the nose and in the glass, the typical notes of apple and pear cider dominate. On the palate, the pears bring light tannins that give the brandy grip. The finish is fresh.

Drink it neat at about 16–18 °C in a small tulip glass, as a digestif after a meal, or with a piece of mature mountain cheese. A few drops of water open up the fruit even further. A brandy for evenings when you take your time.
