Quintessenz Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC 0.75L

A Sauvignon Blanc from the South Tyrolean Überetsch — the region around Lake Kaltern, where the interplay of alpine coolness and Mediterranean warmth produces white wines with clear aromatics and lively acidity. The Kellerei Kaltern is one of the most traditional cooperatives in South Tyrol and vinifies wines from over 220 hectares of vineyards around the lake.

In the glass, the Quintessenz Sauvignon shows a bright golden yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, gooseberry, elderflower, and a hint of white grapefruit — the varietal-typical aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc, here embedded in a fresh, herbal line. On the palate, dry, with lively acidity and a pleasantly long, slightly mineral finish.

Serve well-chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs with grilled sea bass, goat cheese, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or light pasta dishes with herbs and lemon — an uncomplicated companion for the summer.
