Puligny Montrachet AC Puligny Montrachet 0.75L
Puligny-Montrachet is considered one of the great white addresses of Burgundy — and this village wine from Domaine Jean Monnier & Fils shows why. The family winery in Meursault has been managing vineyards in the Côte de Beaune for generations and stands for classic Burgundian Chardonnay without compromise.
The wine shines in a rich golden yellow in the glass. The nose opens with ripe peach, juicy apricot, and a hint of grapefruit — accompanied by a fine floral note, as is typical for the calcareous soils of Puligny-Montrachet. On the palate, it shows the characteristic tension of the appellation: creamy texture, lively acidity, and a long, mineral-spicy finish.
Served at 10–12 °C, it pairs well with scallops with butter sauce, turbot, lobster, or a ripe Époisses. A simple roast chicken from the oven also brings out the best in this wine.
