Pinot Noir Russian River Valley WO Russian River Valley - California 0.75L

Merry Edwards is one of the defining names in the Russian River Valley — a region in Sonoma County whose cool Pacific influences and Goldridge sandy soils create ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. Founder Merry Edwards is considered one of California's most experienced Pinot specialists and has been consistently working for decades on site-typical expressions of this demanding grape variety.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows an aromatic depth that is immediately noticeable: blackberry and dark cherry meet stone fruit, baking spice, and a hint of fennel wood. On the palate, it appears full-bodied with ripe fruit, which is carried by round, well-integrated tannins. The finish is warm and persistent — typical for the sun-drenched but cool-influenced sites of the Russian River Valley.

It is best to serve it at 16–17 °C — with grilled duck breast, a saddle of lamb with a herb crust, or an aged Époisses. It also makes a good impression with mushroom risotto or pasta with truffle.
