Pinot Noir Grand Select QW Vienna 0.75L

Pinot Noir from Vienna – that sounds unusual, but it's one of Austria's most exciting wine regions. Wieninger's vines grow on the hills around Stammersdorf and Bisamberg, where loess soil and a continental climate provide the ideal conditions for structured, elegant red wine. The winery practices organic farming – without synthetic pesticides, focusing on healthy soils.

In the glass, the Grand Select displays a deep carmine garnet with violet reflections. The nose opens with aromas of Morello cherry and wild blackberry, accompanied by a delicate floral note. On the palate, it is dry and medium-bodied, with a fine tannin structure and fresh acidity that carries the finish – spicy and pleasantly long.

Best served at 16–17 °C . Pairs well with duck breast with red cabbage, mushroom risotto, or aged goat cheese. Aging it for another one to two years will add further depth.
