Pinot Noir Dundee Hills - Estate bottled 0.75L

Burgundian handwriting meets Oregon terroir: The Estate Bottled Pinot Noir from Domaine Drouhin in the Dundee Hills stands for a style that keeps elegance and power in balance – precise, cool, and expressive.

Behind Domaine Drouhin Oregon is the Maison Joseph Drouhin from Beaune, which founded its first American winery in the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley in 1987. The red volcanic soils of these hilltops are considered one of the best Pinot Noir sites in North America – cool, well-drained, with long growing seasons that ensure slow ripening and flavor development. “Estate Bottled" means: grapes, aging, and bottling come exclusively from the estate's own property.

In the glass, bright ruby red. On the nose, sour cherry and red currant appear, underpinned by a hint of violets and fine earthy notes – typical for the volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills. On the palate, medium body, lively acidity, silky tannins, and a long finish characterized by red fruits.

Best served at 14–16 °C. Pairs with duck breast with cherry sauce, grilled salmon fillet, or a mature Époisses.
