Pietradonice Rosso di Toscana IGT Tuscany 0.75L

Casanova di Neri is primarily known for its Brunello di Montalcino — but the Pietradonice shows what the winery knows how to do with Cabernet Sauvignon. Named after the vineyard of the same name in Montalcino, this wine grows on a terroir that shapes the international grape variety with Tuscan precision.

In the glass, a deep ruby red presents itself. The nose opens with cassis, dark plum, and a hint of cedar wood — classic Cabernet aromas that gain depth through a Mediterranean herbal note (thyme, rosemary). On the palate, the Pietradonice shows structure: firm but ripe tannins, a lively acidity, and a long, spicy finish with a touch of dark chocolate.

Best drunk at 16–18 °C — feel free to decant an hour before serving so that the aromas can fully unfold. It pairs with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, braised lamb shank with rosemary, or ripe Pecorino Toscano.
