Pampero Especial 0.7L

Pampero Especial is a rum from Venezuela, blended from over 40 different barrels. It is aimed at anyone looking for a wood-influenced rum with depth that works just as well neat as it does in a mixing glass.

Pampero has been one of the most well-known rum brands in Venezuela since its founding in 1938. For the Especial, the rum matures in former Scotch whisky barrels. Subsequently, light, medium-heavy, and heavy rum types are blended together. This mixture of three rum styles gives the blend structure and depth that a single barrel rarely provides.

In the glass, wood and vanilla appear, plus caramel and ripe fruits. These aromas remain recognizable even in a cocktail; the rum does not get lost in mixed drinks. We recommend it neat at room temperature or over ice for a quiet evening. As a base, it fits into rum and cola, daiquiri, or an Old Fashioned with rum. It also pairs well with dark chocolate or grilled pineapple.
