Mosto Oro extra virgin olive oil
Mosto Oro is a mild, fruity olive oil from Liguria, made from the indigenous Taggiasca variety. Harvesting takes place from early to mid-October, and processing occurs in a modern, dedicated olive mill located directly in the region.
On the nose, floral and sweet notes, pine nuts, almonds, and a hint of ripe apple with citrus. On the palate, ripe olive fruit, a delicate sweetness, accompanied by a slight spiciness and hardly any bitterness—a balanced Taggiasca characteristic that highlights rather than masks the delicate aromas.
Raw over fish carpaccio, light vegetables, or as a finishing touch on homemade vanilla ice cream. A dry Ligurian Vermentino or a light Soave pairs well with it.
