Robert Chevillon is one of the most prestigious family wineries in Nuits-Saint-Georges. The estate has cultivated vineyards around the town for generations, including several Premier Cru parcels. This Vieilles Vignes cuvée comes from old vines that have deeper roots and produce more concentrated grapes—the foundation for wines with depth and aging potential.

In the glass, the wine displays the typical character of a mature Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits: aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and violet, underpinned by an earthy, slightly leathery note. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with firm yet finely polished tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral finish. Not a sumptuous, soft wine—but one that makes its presence felt.

Drinking window: now until 2032. Serving temperature: 16–17 °C. Pairs well with braised lamb shoulder, Coq au Vin or a mature Époisses.
