Les Pruliers is one of the most characterful Premier Cru sites in Nuits-Saint-Georges — a vineyard with deep, iron-rich soils that shapes Pinot Noir in a way you can immediately feel in the glass: dark, structured, with a depth that many village wines from the Côte de Nuits do not reach.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, blackberry and black cherry, underlined by violets, a hint of earth, and dark spice. On the palate, dense but fine-grained tannins, a lively acidity that gives the wine tension, and a long, mineral-spicy finish with a slight iron note — typical for this site.

Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs with duck breast with cherries, rack of lamb with rosemary, wild boar ragout, or ripe Époisses. If you like, decant an hour before pouring — the wine opens up noticeably with air.
