Les Cailles is one of the most renowned Premier Cru sites of Nuits-Saint-Georges — a vineyard known for its special depth and structure, showing the potential of the Côte de Nuits in concentrated form.

Robert Chevillon is one of the most respected family wineries in Nuits-Saint-Georges. For generations, the family has cultivated its parcels in the best sites of the appellation with a clear focus on terroir expression and artisanal care. The house's wines are considered a reference for the typical style of the Côte de Nuits: powerful, but with Burgundian finesse.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows dark cherry and blackberry, underlined by violets, fine cedar wood, and a mineral undertone that reminds one of the iron-rich soil of the site. The tannins are present but silky — the finish long, dry, and with a typical spice that distinguishes Nuits-Saint-Georges from other Côte de Nuits appellations.

Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs with wild boar loin with mushroom jus, entrecôte, or ripe Époisses.
